Minimum order, packaging, and quantity discounts: how wholesale purchasing works
Those buying wholesale for the first time encounter three terms that don't exist in retail: minimum order, multi-pack, and quantity discount. These aren't bureaucratic complications: they're the reason wholesale prices are what they are. Understanding them helps you spend less and avoid stocking up on unnecessary items.
Minimum order: why it exists
Preparare, imballare e spedire un ordine costa uguale che sia da 50 o da 500 euro. L'ordine minimo — da noi 150 euro + IVA — e' la soglia sotto la quale la spedizione costerebbe piu' della merce. Non e' una barriera: e' la ragione per cui il prezzo unitario resta basso. In pratica si raggiunge con poche referenze, e conviene comporlo con articoli di categorie diverse per capire quali girano nel tuo negozio.
Multi-pack and MOQ
Each item is purchased in multiples of a pack: 6, 12, or 24 pieces, depending on the product. The package is the one the item is packaged in at the factory, and breaking it costs someone a job. The number is listed on each catalog card: if a package seems too large to start with, it almost always means that item isn't the first one to try—it's best to start with items with smaller pack sizes and work your way up.
Quantity discount: when it's worth it
For the same item, the more packages you buy, the less you pay: 3 packages get a 5% discount, and 5 packages get an 8% discount, applied directly to the order line. It's valid on the current price, including offers, and the coupon is applied later, on the already discounted total. It's a good idea when you've already tried an item and know it's popular: on a first order, almost never. The healthy order is one package to try, three or five to reorder.
Compose an order that does not tie up capital
A well-placed order is short and frequent, not long and infrequent. With 48/72-hour shipping, you can reorder every two weeks based on real data instead of guessing three months in advance. The exception is peak seasons—Christmas in particular—where merchandise should be ordered early because it's sold out by December. For everything else: buy a little, see what's selling, and buy that again.

No: ogni articolo si prende a confezione minima, indicata in scheda. E' pero' quasi sempre una confezione piccola, e l'ordine minimo complessivo di 150 euro + IVA si compone con piu' articoli diversi.
Does the quantity discount add to offers?
Yes: the quantity discount is calculated on the current price, including offers. It is not added to the welcome coupon: if you use that, only the coupon applies to your order.
How long does it take to arrive?
Within Italy, orders are processed within 48-72 business hours, including islands. Outside Italy, a 10% shipping charge will be added to the net price, calculated in your cart before payment; shipping times vary by country.
